This is a 3 Days, 2 Nights Safari visiting the iconic safari destination, Masai Mara. The safari starts from Nairobi passing through the amazing Great Rift Valley. You can have a stop-over to view this scenery.
The Masai Mara is perhaps the most iconic safari destination in Kenya, known for its wide-open plains and the spectacular Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes cross the Mara River between July and October. It’s also a prime location for spotting the “Big Five” – lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos.

Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara
07:00 AM: Depart from Nairobi and begin your journey towards the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint for breathtaking views.
12:30 PM: Arrive at your camp/lodge for check-in.
01:00 PM: Lunch at the camp/lodge.
04:00 PM: Embark on your first thrilling evening game drive in the Maasai Mara. Witness the wide range of wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and cheetahs.
06:30 PM: Return to the camp for dinner and relaxation.
07:30 PM: Relax around the campfire or enjoy evening entertainment, such as traditional Maasai dance performances.
Overnight: Stay at a luxury tented camp or lodge.
Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara
06:00 AM: Early morning game drive. This is the best time to spot predators like lions and leopards as they hunt.
09:00 AM: Return to the camp for breakfast.
10:30 AM: Head out for a full-day game drive, with packed picnic lunch to enjoy in the park. Explore deeper into the park and witness the spectacular wildlife, including the Great Migration (seasonal), vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles.
01:00 PM: Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot in the reserve.
04:00 PM: Continue your afternoon game drive, spotting more of the Big Five (elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, rhinos) and other wildlife species.
06:00 PM: Return to the camp for dinner.
Optional: You can opt for a hot air balloon safari at dawn (additional cost), followed by a champagne breakfast in the savannah.
Overnight: Stay at the same camp or lodge.
Day 3: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
06:30 AM: Enjoy a final early morning game drive in Maasai Mara.
09:00 AM: Return to the camp for breakfast and check-out.
10:30 AM: Begin your drive back to Nairobi.
01:00 PM: Stop for lunch at a restaurant en route (at your own expense).
04:00 PM: Arrive in Nairobi and be dropped off at your hotel or airport, concluding your safari adventure.
